Professional title: Counsellor
Professional membership & accreditation:
I am a Registered Member (058520) of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I am a qualified and experienced integrative counsellor.
Graduate Diploma in Counselling, University of Leeds 2004.
Certificate in Counselling, Leeds Metropolitan University 2001.
For the past nine years I have worked for the charity Leeds Counselling and offered short-term and long–term counselling. I therefore have experience of working with a wide range of client issues, ranging from complex long-standing problems which may be rooted in the past, through to more specific difficulties often relating to recent events and current life experiences.
I am a sensitive, perceptive and yet straightforward counsellor who strongly believes in treating people as individuals with different needs and working with them accordingly. I aim to create an environment of trust and space where you can explore your issues without fearing being judged and in the strictest confidence. As an integrative counsellor I am able to adapt my approach to your specific needs and to build on your inner strength and utilise your own unique resources with the view to promoting a greater sense of inner freedom and psychological growth.
I have experience of working with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship or family issues, loneliness, grief, loss of confidence, suicidal or hopeless feelings, illness, abuse, unmanageable anger, addictions, and gender identity. Counselling is a way to work through difficult feelings, and gain help to cope with these challenges.

Counselling sessions can be offered in English or German. I offer short and long term work.
